A typical session may involve painting a picture, writing your thoughts and feelings that arise, and adding movement or sound. This provides a deeper experience of expression, processing, insight, and growth.

As a registered expressive arts therapist, I’m trained in using the arts to accomplish your therapeutic goals. There is a purpose behind everything we do together. We can also integrate other modalities such as EMDR and CBT.

What supplies do I need?
We can use a variety of materials! I will have certain materials for you to use but you can also bring your own, if you’d like!
Can I do expressive arts therapy virtually/online?
Yes! You can use the materials you have at home or I can send you a box of some materials to use.
Can I do expressive arts therapy alongside regular talk therapy?
Yes! Expressive arts therapy integrates very well with talk therapy. We can even incorporate other modalities such as EMDR and IFS.
