Individual Counseling
Your healing journey deserves an integrative approach that’s designed specifically for you.
You deserve a therapist who sees the whole picture, not just the presenting problem.
You know you need support. You’ve already done the work of acknowledging that something needs to shift, that you’re ready to heal, that investing in yourself matters. You’re looking for someone who understands that your anxiety, burnout, or perfectionism didn’t appear out of nowhere. Someone who brings real expertise, proven approaches, and the ability to work with what’s actually underneath, not just surface-level symptoms.
You’re looking for a therapist who:
Understands complexity – Your struggles aren’t simple, and you need someone who can work with nuance
Offers real expertise – Not just a warm presence, but specialized training in trauma, EMDR, and holistic approaches
Goes beyond talk therapy – Because you’ve tried traditional therapy and you’re ready for something deeper
Respects your time – You’re busy, and you need therapy that’s efficient and actually moves the needle
Sees the whole picture – Your mind, body, past experiences, current challenges, and future goals
If this resonates, you’re in the right place.

Is Wildly Whole Counseling Right for You?
An Integrative Approach Designed for Your
I don’t believe in forcing you into a predetermined treatment protocol. Instead, I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities to create an approach that fits your unique needs, goals, and timeline. I combine proven therapeutic approaches with a holistic understanding of how healing and growth happen in your mind, your body, and your nervous system.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
EMDR helps your brain reprocess difficult experiences so they stop hijacking your present. Unlike traditional talk therapy, you don’t have to relive every painful detail, your brain does the healing work naturally. Learn more about EMDR.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Trauma-Focused CBT
Addresses the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We identify patterns that aren’t serving you and develop practical strategies to shift them. TF-CBT adds specialized protocols for processing trauma safely.
Nervous System Work
Trauma lives in your body, not just your memory. Through body-oriented approaches, we work with body sensations, breath, and grounding to help your nervous system finally feel safe. This is the piece traditional talk therapy misses.
Expressive Arts Therapy
When words aren’t enough or when you spend all day in your analytical brain, creativity offers another pathway to healing. Through art, movement, music, or writing, we access emotions and experiences that verbal processing alone can’t reach. Learn more about Expressive Arts Therapy.
Internal Family Systems (Parts Work)
Explores the different parts of yourself, such as the achiever, the critic, the wounded child, and the protector. IFS helps them work together instead of against you. This approach helps you work together with all your parts, without judgment, and creates lasting integration and self-compassion.
What to Expect in Individual Counseling for Women
1. First Session
We dive into what brings you to therapy now, your specific goals and what success looks like for you, your history, patterns, and the context that shaped your current challenges. We will discuss which approaches will be most effective for your unique situation.
You’ll leave with clarity on what we’ll be working on together and a sense of whether I’m the right therapist for you.
2. Ongoing Sessions
Each 55-minute session focuses on achieving your goals. We may process a traumatic memory using EMDR, work through a current challenge, build skills for managing anxiety, practice techniques to regulate your nervous system, or explore the beliefs driving your perfectionism or self-doubt.
We don’t waste time. Every session has a purpose. Some weeks require deep processing; others need practical support. Each session is part of a larger arc of healing and growth.
3. Between Sessions
Real change happens when therapy extends beyond our sessions. You’ll practice new skills in your daily life, notice patterns as they arise, and integrate insights into your relationships and decisions.
This isn’t busywork. It’s about making therapy relevant to your actual life.

FAQ’s
How do I know if we're a good fit?
The best way is to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We’ll discuss what you’re looking for, I’ll share how I work, and we’ll both get a sense of whether this feels right.
What makes you different from other therapists?
I have specialized training (EMDR certified, REAT, trauma-focused), an integrative approach that addresses mind and body, and years of focused experience with trauma and women’s issues. I don’t do surface-level talk therapy. I help my clients find the root cause to find long lasting relief.
How long does therapy typically take?
It depends on your goals and what we’re working on. Some clients see significant shifts in 3-6 months; others benefit from longer-term support for deeper transformation. We’ll check in regularly about progress and adjust as needed. You’re in control of your timeline.
Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?
Yes, I offer flexible scheduling including some evening and weekend slots to accommodate busy professionals. Availability varies, so it’s best to ask during your consultation.
What if I've tried therapy before and it didn't work?
Many of my clients have had that experience. Often it’s about finding the right approach or the right therapist. My integrative style means we have multiple tools to work with. If one approach isn’t effective, we adapt. EMDR, somatic work, and expressive arts often reach what traditional talk therapy can’t.
Can we do therapy virtually?
Absolutely. I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant online sessions throughout Texas. Many busy professionals prefer virtual therapy for the convenience and privacy. The therapeutic relationship and effectiveness can be just as strong online.
Please note: For your safety, I cannot provide online therapy if you’re currently experiencing suicidal ideation or engaging in self-harm. I’m happy to provide referrals to appropriate care.
How do I prepare for my first session?
Just show up as you are. You might want to think about what you’re hoping to work on, but there’s no formal preparation needed. I’ll guide our conversation and help you feel comfortable opening up.
What insurance do you accept?
I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health. If you plan to use insurance, I recommend calling your insurance company to verify your mental health benefits, including your copay, deductible, and how many sessions are covered per year.
How much does therapy cost with insurance vs. private pay?
With insurance: Your cost depends on your plan’s mental health benefits. Typically, you’ll pay a copay (often $20-$50) or coinsurance (a percentage of the session cost) after meeting your deductible.
Private pay: My rate is $150 per 55-minute session. You pay at the time of service, and you can request a superbill if submitting to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Why do some clients choose private pay over insurance?
Many clients prefer private pay for privacy and freedom. Insurance companies can limit the number of sessions and may dictate which approaches we can use. With private pay, your records stay completely confidential between us, no diagnosis is required, and we have complete freedom to work at your pace without external constraints.
